Our Mission and Vision
Nourished in the Word was founded with a passion to equip believers and churches in joyful obedience to Christ. Ray Rhodes, Jr. envisioned a space where encouragement flourished through biblical teaching and heartfelt community support. Since its inception, the ministry has aimed to champion joy as the foundation of healthy marriages, families, and churches. We are honored to have served various local churches, families, and pastors. Each partnership amplifies our mission of spreading God’s joy and purpose.
What Do We Believe?
Nourished in the Word Ministries (NITW) operates in accordance with doctrinal convictions that reflect historic Christian beliefs and practices. Our convictions are articulated in statements that serve as the criteria for board, staff, and leadership team members and for all ministry activities. Though there may be distinctions on the leadership team on some secondary matters, all team members hold to the essential truths of the Christian faith and are active members in evangelical churches. The minister/director of NITW, Ray Rhodes, is also submissive to his church’s doctrinal statements and constitution and bylaws.
